Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actress and producer. She is a top-paid actress and has received many nominations for her performance. Anushka Sharma was born May 1 1988 in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh. She is the daughter of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. The father of Anushka, who was a former colonel is Anushka. Her mother is also a housewife. Karnesh Sharma is her younger brother. Karnesh was in the Merchant Navy, and is an entrepreneur in the field of film production. Anushka was first seen acting in the year 2008 in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan. The actress took time to study and was able to not attempt the test on her own. Later, she signed up for three movies with Yash Raj Films. She was the wife of a young man of a man who was older in the film (the exact same character that Shah Rukh Khan played). The movie received mixed reviews. That same year Anushka Sharma was seen in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat' along with Ranveer Singh, in which she played the role of a middle class Punjabi girl who begins her own wedding planning business. It received favorable reviews and turned out to be a surprise hit. Anushka's contract for three movies under Yash Raj Films was completed by Band Baaja Baaraat.
