Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her role as Detective Diane Russell. In addition, she was a part of dramas such as All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Born as the only daughter of a high-ranking executive in the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney was raised with four brothers. When she was a kid, she dreamt of being a court reporter. But after she graduated from high school and moving in New York in the 1980s then she started modeling. In 1981, she appeared as an innocent teenager in the film All My Children. The career of Delaney has been filled with a variety of television shows and dramas. Personally, her professional life hasn't been successful and happy. The talented actress has struggled with alcoholism in the past as well as two marriages that failed. In 2005, the actress lost custody over her only son.
